Terms of Use

These terms cover Camstalgia for iPhone (on the App Store as Throwback: Old Phone Camera until the update that renames it). You get the app from the App Store, so Apple’s standard licence applies to it, as to every App Store app. This page sums up what that means for your purchases, plus a few words of our own.

Effective date: 7 November 2026

1. What the app does

Camstalgia is a camera app. It recreates how phone cameras from 2007 to 2019 processed their photos, based on published lab tests and reviews. Its camera screens are our own drawings in the style of each year. Camstalgia is not affiliated with Apple.

2. Subscriptions and payment

Your first 10 photos or videos are free. After that, All Phones is a subscription, monthly or yearly, with no free trial. It renews every month or every year at the price shown before you confirm, until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in Settings › your name › Subscriptions; the subscription then ends at the close of the period already paid for. Apple charges your Apple Account and handles every payment.

3. Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If the law of your country gives you a right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content, or a longer warranty, these terms do not limit it.

4. Your photos

Your photos and videos are yours. They stay on your iPhone. The app’s roll is deleted when you delete the app, so keep the copies in your photo library or your own backups.

5. Your data

The app collects nothing. Our Privacy Policy says the rest.

6. Changes to the app

We may add, change or remove features. A subscription covers the app as it is in the version you can install; it is not a promise of future features.

7. No warranty beyond the law

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Slovenia. If you are a consumer in the EU, the mandatory consumer protection of your own country still applies.
